We were at Prayatna, Gurgaon today. What made kids of this NGO different was their rare choice of passion. Very few kids want to become writers/poets. Well, these kids were good at it but they wanted to pursue something common as their career.
Do we even need to mention the reason here?
We often have hobbies during our childhood that make us happy but somehow our elders teach us that these hobbies could only remain hobbies. We, as kids agree to that and gradually incline towards something that we never even dreamt of. Need we say more about how common this is in our society.
We are fighting it every day and today we got the chance to enlighten these kids about how they could turn their hobbies into their career.
