Meet the NGO

Our NGO worked for women empowerment from last 17 years as we were registered on 2003. Our first main purpose is to empower the women in the rural areas who needs help in their empowerment as it reflects from our NGO name also but when we entered in the rural areas on the grassroots level then we realised this is not only the problem of rural areas but also urban areas need help in empowerment related to women, so we decided to form a SHG’s i.e. Self Help Groups of women as well as men in rural and urban areas also in which we taught them to save and invest money for future development and we also communicate with bank from the point of view to help them in keeping the records also we check whether they had to face any problem related to anything. At the current situation we have more than 1200 active SHG”s formed by The Asha Kiran NGO. Later on we worked for many people for their empowerment related to Health, Education, Livelihood, Economic and Psychological whether they are women, farmers or children. Now our Ngo had worked on Water and Sanitation especially in the rural areas where the awareness related to sanitation is not available. We also worked on Water Treatment for farmers in villages. We also noticed that Awareness is also very important for women as well as children’s empowerment so we worked on Livelihood Trainings and small business training for women, youth and farmers empowerment.
