Meet the NGO

SAVE (Services to AIDS Victims and Empowerment) Foundation is an ISO 9001:2000 Certified NGO, registered in June 2003 under societies registration act 1850 and public trust act 1960. Foundation is working in Sangli district of Maharashtra, prominently in the field of HIV/AIDS focusing on PLHIV. Following are the major programmes –

STD/HIV/AIDS Awareness Education Programmes.
Voluntary Confidential Counseling And Testing Services.
Homoeopathic Care and Support Services To PLHIV.
SPARSH – Jeene Ki Kala, a life skills education programme for young people – Unicef.
Reproductive and child health programme – Govt. of India.
Sustainable Livelihood Mechanisms For PLHIV

Meet the Founder

Prof. Shreepal Sapatasagar is founder President, who founded the organisation in the year 2003. Prof. Shreepal Saptasagar, is a post graduate in Engineering and also in Management, was a professor in engineering college, and served for 32 years. Since 1984, working in social sector. Designed, developed and implemented various innovative projects in Health, Women Empowerment, HIV AIDS and sustainable rural development. Worked and working in partnership with State and Central Governments, UNICEF, UNDP and Corporates in implementing CSR initiatives.
